This ultra versatile machine allows for training of both the gluteus maximus and the hamstrings muscle group. By pivoting your body forward at the knees the hamstrings are forced to work harder. By pivoting at the hips the glutes are more involved in the lift.
As there is no curved thigh pad this machine is able to be used for the more advanced pivoting at the knees movement, which places greater loading on the hamstrings. However, if that is initially too difficult simply bend at the hips a little to utilise the glutes until you reach a comfortable height, then straighten the hips to place the load back on the hamstrings. Another technique trainers use if the loading at the horizontal position is too great is to 'push up' with your arms while horizontal, as a form of assistance to get yourself moving.

Our founder is a mechanical engineer who rejects low quality products as he wouldn't have them in his own gym! We just don't design products that take short cuts to keep costs down. There is a minimum standard which we stick to and we wouldn't want you to have anything we wouldn't own ourselves.

There is now an over supply of gym equipment, so how do all of these new suppliers compete with one another? Price, and a lower landed cost is how they achieve it. Quality is poor as many suppliers have little interest in engineering a well made product that will last. Many only got in to this industry as demand was huge and there was easy money to be made. In practice a warranty is only as good as the suppliers willingness to honour it, and their response to your queries (especially if there is an issue) may well evaporate when their low price model doesn't allow for the time it takes to properly resolve issues.
